No One Can Top Our Rates

Busfreighter.com is the only authorized reseller of Greyhound Package Express services. Teaming with a company like Greyhound, which has been transporting passengers and packages for over a century, gives us a competitive edge in the parcel delivery market. It allows us to offer a variety of discounts you can’t get anywhere else. This is the Busfreighter.com advantage.

Input Your Info and Voilà!

No log in required for quote and order, this is an advantage over most shipping websites fill in the Instant Quote & Ordering form, get your quote and order:

  • Number of pieces to ship
  • Total shipment weight
  • Declared value
  • Origination zip code or city/state
  • Destination zip code or city/state

It’s as fast and as simple as that! Our online booking system is easy to understand and to use. After inputting your information and selecting your shipping method, you instantly get a quote. If you like what you see (and we think you will), book your shipment. Once we receive a payment confirmation, shipping labels are emailed to you. Print and secure them to all your boxes. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service staff who will be happy to help.

It Has to Fit Under the Bus

Your packages will be shipping in the cargo space under a bus. For this reason, our weight limit is 100 lbs. The maximum size of a package is 29”x 47”x 82”. We do not recommend that you ship fragile items or parcels that require special handling (you know, “this end up”). No TVs are allowed. Good luck getting a mattress shipped on a bus. Leave those to other types of moving companies.

The Choices Are Yours

There are three different methods of shipping on Busfreighter.com. You can customize the way your packages are delivered and how much you save:

  1. Self-service (Terminal to Terminal) – Drop off and pick up your packages at a station or one of our Convenient Drop Off (CDL) locations. Station hours can vary, so consult www.greyhound.com for more information.
  2. Semi-full service (Station to Door, Door to Station) – Choose to drop off your items at a station and have them delivered to your destination by courier.
  3. Full service (Door to Door) – Don’t have time to drop off your packages? Allow us to pick them up and deliver them with door-to-door service. (note: not available in all locations)

Features of a First-Rate Busfreighter.com Shipping Experience

  • Convenient Drop Off Locations (CDL) – These are separate sites where packages can be checked in or picked up. Hours of operation are limited (Monday-Friday 7a-7pm), so plan accordingly.
  • Exclusive Busfreighter.com Rates – You can only get our rates through the Busfreighter.com website. Greyhound cannot extend these rates to you if you decide to ship directly from a GPX office.
  • Expedient Delivery - Shipments of less than 1,500 miles typically take 2-5 days while the average cross country delivery takes 7-10 days. (Special note - package size can impact travel time due to available cargo space on buses)
  • Complete Shipping Details - Be sure to include a phone number for the recipient at your destination. Busfreighter.com will call them to notify for shipment pick up or arrange the delivery appointment when your shipment arrives
